We were very pleased with their proffessionalism, courtesy, timeliness and ultimate work product. They schedueld a structural engineer to come to the property both before and after repair to ensure that the work to be performed would resolve the issue and then to ensure that the issue had been resolved. Additionally, the work was guaranteed and there is a lifetime transferrable warranty on the repair. We sold our house and transferred the warranty without a problem. We would definitely use them again, although we hope that w... read more

I had a termite inspection on a home that I had just purchased and was told there was a problem with the pier and beam foundation (one of the piers was not functioning). The house did not seem very level, so I called Structured Foundation Repairs. They scheduled a visit the same week that I called. The person who arrived, Brandon Hoge, spent over an hour measuring the floor height around the house using fancy equipment and then crawled under the house and inspected the foundation. He took long enough that I was worried that ... read more

They came out, inspected my home and recommended 6 piers on 9/16. Installation was scheduled for a Friday, 10/8/2010 but one of their trucks broke down so they agreed to come the following day which was a Saturday when they normally don't work. This was acceptable. A team of 5 or 6 arrived at 9 am and worked until dark to complete the install. We were quite shocked while sitting in our house how much the house rocks around (rises and falls) while the are installling the piers and quite expected stuff to start falling off the... read more

It was a good experience. The initial inspection was done with us present and they explained the process well. The bid was about what we expected and we set up the service for a couple of weeks from the inspection, They showed up on time, did the job, left the house without a mess, and their work passed the follow-up inspection of the engineer.

They were one of the 3 companies that came out to give us a bid. We got a structural engineer and ended up using another company since the structural engineer had a relationship with them. They came out to give us a quote and I liked the guy who came out. We did get 3 different solutions from 3 different companies. We didn?t know who to believe since they were all talking about their estimates being better than the others. So we got the structural engineer, but that was nothing to do with the guy who came out to give us a bi... read more

Business response:

In this report it seems like the customers only concern is price. It is unfortunate, however that we cannot compare apples to apples. If we could see the other company's estimate or speak with the customer we would ask several questions such as: 1. Are their crew members employees or do they use day laborers? Is the company fully insured including Workers Compensation to protect the homeowner? Did the company include a permit for the City of Carrollton? What type of warranty was the company offering, was it pro-rated? All of... read more

Company did an outstanding job! Highly recommend. This is the first time we have ever had to have foundation work done on a home. The experience was much, much better then expected. Chris Bailey from Structured Foundation Repair is excellent. He is one of only 2 TREC licensed foundation instructors in the DFW area. He really knows what he is talking about. He explains the situation completely and makes you feel very comfortable with the process. The company sent a structural engineer to recheck the original estimate to make ... read more

They were quick and efficient. Managed to avoid breaking thru our sidewalk which was the original plan. Also the sales rep. was very truthful about what needed to be done and did not try to low ball me. The plumbing company they used had good integrity as well. Did exactly what they said overall, and charged exactly what the quote was.

Randy Lazier was very good on calling me and coming out to give me an estimate. The engineer also was very nice and showed up when he said and was very flexible with my schedule. The crew showed up and had problems with getting the house level. I ended up with more cracks which is normal I believe when you are lower on one side of the house then the other. We could not resolve all the problems without pouring a couple of piers on the inside but I didn't want to do that at this time. My main problem is the follow-up. They too... read more

Business response:

THE MATERIAL ON THE MEMBER'S FRONT PORCH WAS A MATERIAL WE WERE UNFAMILIAR WITH. IT TOOK SOME TIME TO RESOLVE THE MATTER AS WE WERE LOOKING FOR A MATCH. BECAUSE IT WAS A COSMETIC ISSUE, BY OUR CONTRACT, THE HOMEOWNER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THE REPAIR, HOWEVER, AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION, THE HOMEOWNER MADE THE DECISION TO HAVE THE PORCH PATCHED WITH A DIFFERENT MATERIAL AND THE PATCH WAS COMPLETED BY OUR COMPANY ON 09/05/2008.
