Great workout and a very sweet new teacher! Rating low because unfortunately the other studio staff did not create an inclusive environment. I attended with my partner’s mom - it was the first time either of us had done pilates and we chose a Lite class. They didn’t assist her with accommodations to challenging exercises and discouraged her from even trying exercises that she wanted to attempt. I joined Studio6 about a month ago. I had never done reformer Pilates but was interested and honestly intimidated. This Studio is the perfect place to learn, I love that they offer Lite classes. They have great new member packages. I ended up becoming a member, offering me to bring a guest once a month. I brought my friend as a guest and she signed up immediately! All of the instructors have been great, as well as the front staff who demonstrated everything for me prior to my first class.
Prior to covid I paid $600.00 for a packet then covid came , I called to see how that would work and they stated it would be fine my package would be available anytime and I would not lose my money, I year later I tried to redeem it and they were rude and won't not work with me, they essentially ripped me off for $600.00. I would not recommend this place their ethics are clearly not good.
The instructor, Sara, was professional and very informative. I appreciated her ques and the challenging class. She was super supportive and encouraging throughout the class. I would definitely take her class again and recommend her as an instructor!
Studio 6 Lakewood is my NEW WORKOUT HOME!! I absolutely love the challenging workouts that are different each time I go. If you are trying to get back into fitness after an injury or a very common Dallas car crash occurrence, I highly recommend Studio 6 for Lagree Method Pilates classes. My core is stronger than it has been in actual years and as I get closer to the big 5-0 I appreciate the ability to build muscle and flexibility AT THE SAME TIME. If Studio 6 ever breaks up with me, I will cry and cry...
