Too quick and ready to walk away during appointment session. He doesn't take accountability to help and refers you back to your internal medicine doctor while they refer you back to Dr. Shah. Terrible disservice for a heart patient to go through. The integrity of helping the human spirit at Loyola is disheartening. Patient advocacy can't do too much about it. They review the issue and talk to the doctor. When the cardiologist doctor comes back to you, he encourages you to find another cardiologist.
Loyola has the best cardiology staff! Dr Subir Shah really makes you feel relaxed with his kind words and his smile. He has a great bedside manner and takes time to listen to his patient. He is thought of very highly by all of his patients and the nursing staff. Great doc!
Dr. Shah is FANTASTIC!!!!!!! He is such a Great Doctor and also has so much compassion for his patients. I feel better as soon as he comes into the room. I will ALWAYS trust him as my Cardiologist!!! Dave
Had a 10 am appointment. Was brought into the examining room at 10:04. At 10:45 the doctor hadn't come in yet. I had to go to the desk to inquire if I had come at a bad time. The doctor came into the room around 10:55. His excuse was that he was busy. I get that, but his time is no more valuable than mine. Making me sit for that long with no word about when the doctor would see me is disrespectful and speaks to the entitled attitude of some doctors. My meeting was great. My heart has healed 100% from the previous damage. I am rockin and rollin. My Lipid test results are great as well. I have both my good cholesterol and bad cholesterol under control finally. Hope to come off meds soon. Loyola and Dr. Shah great job.
