Just updating this since I finally moved out of here. They kept most of my security deposit money on bogus charges. There were "Other" charges that are were not specified. Charged to re-glaze the bathtub even though it was reglazed just a few months before I moved out. Charged for a new toilet seat that wasn't broken. After calling endlessly and them not getting back to me, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, SB never responded. I sent them a letter threatening to sue, they never responded. Don’t know where to begin. I can’t stress enough how awful of a company JK Residential is. My building (Summer Breeze) has had 7 or 8 apartment managers in the 4 years that I’ve lived there. When simple things break, it takes management months to fix. That’s if they fix it at all. The only time things are really fixed is after the once a year city inspection. Dont do it, this is a terrible place to live! Roach infested(took 1yr to clear our unit when we moved in), hot water issues every week and water cut offs every week without warning. Moldy bathrooms, and a management/maintenance team that should be closed down for incompetence! I've already reported this company to the Better Business Bureau twice, and withheld my rent 3months on 2 different occasions as a result of no action or responses concerning requested repairs to my unit. The new manager shows arrogance , you cannot have your grill outside your apartment. She said. It’s the policy building’s I don’t recommend you to apply to rent on this building a lot of roaches. They increase rent wherever they want every year.
Lived here for a year. No stable manager. All request for things to be fixed went unnoticed. Bug problem that monthly extermination couldn't fix
