Very unprofessional call center. After 2 minutes after they called me the representative continued to pretend I wasn’t there and continue to talk to you as coworkers and laugh. When he finally acknowledged, I was on the phone he asked we are looking for the one in charge of the electric bill. Would give half a star if I could... Reading some of the reviews, mt 77 yr old mother was one who was never told that her account was sold to Discount Power. Her residential broker did not even know until she called him to make sure it was legitimate. This company has been struggling to tread water for over a year and they will drain you for as much as they can to help keep them afloat. I put an initial review on the services provided about a week ago (see below). They informed me that they changed their systems which caused the error and promised me that it would never happen again. They also begged me to delete the 1-star review. Then they provide the generic response. HOWEVER, today I got the exact same message for our other business location - despite the fact that they told me that my accounts were in good shape and that this situation would never happen again. This place is the worst. I have been emailing them for a month now to get our contract. They want us to renew the contract but won’t send the current one.
Summer is the worst company period, We done business with them for 5 years and the contract expired, We didnt know it because they said they sent email to previous owner who had been dead for nearly five years. Our bill went from 1400.00 a month to nearly five thousand and it was on auto debit. They said they could,nt do any thing about it. They said if we renewed our contract they would pro rate it, We just got our bill and it was over 5000.00. They said again nothing we can do it will be cheaper next month.
