My experience was amazing. The staff were absolutely very friendly and helpful with me during my time there! They go above and beyond to ensure that we have everything we need to make it very successful for transition! When my husband and I first came here everyone from admissions to the driver was absolutely amazing. When we got to the facility Michelle was doing my intake and after doing my UA and pregnancy test my pregnancy test came back positive. They advised me that I would need to go to the hospital to see if my baby was “dead or alive”. If it was not alive Michelle told me I could come back to the facility to finish treatment and if I was confined pregnant I would be transferred to another facility to detox properly there. Stayed at Summit Detox for two weeks on the residential floor for mental health related treatment. Overall I had a very good experience and was well pleased with the care offered. The staff was very kind and helpful. Lots of groups and recovery meetings offered. We got to get out of the facility nearly on a daily basis, with outings to the beach, bowling, lunch, support groups, etc. The food was good, and the groups were well facilitated and beneficial. I just recently spent 2 weeks at Summit. I had reached a breaking point in my addiction and needed to seek help. This place was the perfect choice. Prior to coming in, I hadn't really done any research, I just knew I needed to go somewhere, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced. My therapist, Caitlyn was absolutely amazing and really helped me understand some of my underlying issues that lead to my addiction.
