Lee and his crew were great! He came out to do an estimate in the evening and was able to begin the install a week later. I really liked working with the owner of the company and that he was very knowledgeable about the construction process; he wasn't just a "sales guy". It rained the day the crew started their work but they finished most of it and then they came out the first day the rain stopped to complete the fence. After they completed, I wanted a few of the pickets replaced and Lee's crew arrived the same day to resolve the issue to beyond my satisfaction! I would highly recommend Summit Fence and would use them again (if the need for another fence ever arises). He was competitively priced, quick and the quality was top-notch. Install 6ft tall, dog-eared, privacy fence with 4 gates around my backyard (total length: 316 feet).

There are large gaps in between the panels of the fence. There is a wide gap between the fence and our home. There is also a gap between the fence and the gate. He came back out and marked down all my complaints and said they would take care of it. I have called them multiple times since then and they keep saying they'll get to us (when they actually asnwer my call). At one time I received a phone call from him (he seemed suprised that I answered) and proceeded to say he had the material is his backyard would schedule something, that was a couple months ago. He said he just hadn't had time to "squeeze" me into his schedule. At this point I just want my fence fixed and to get the quality that I paid for. Lee is a likeable person and in speaking with I found him to be sincere and trustworthy. That is why it is so surprising to me that he hasn't followed through on his word. Update (3/7/13): They came back and corrected their mistakes. Everything wasperformed to my satisfaction! He installed 6ft high wood fence. My neighbor had already put up a fence so he continued to enclose the yard.

I do believe your characterization of the items we changed was a bit overstated as the large gaps you referenced are normal and standard gaps for the operation of the gates and were approximately 1" - 1 1/4" wide, these gaps allow the latches to function normally. Lee is one of the most professional and personable contractors I have hired. He was prompt returning my call requesting an estimate, and was at my house the next day. His estimate was right in the middle of the pack of other estimates. I chose Summit Fence because the price was good, he showed me photographs of his previous work, which helped me see the quality of his work. Also, Lee was the only contractor who did more than just measure the yard. He took the time to offer design and placement suggestions I was initially intending to have a small swimming pool installed in my backyard, and Lee committed to me that he would be able to install the fencing before the poolexcavation began. I was having trouble with the City of Dunwoody getting permits. Because of Lee's experience, he was able to provide me much valuable information and help with the permitting effort, even though he had no responsibility for the pool construction and permitting. He also reached out to the City Engineers to work the pool issues out for me. The pool permit was eventually denied by the city, but I had Lee install the fence anyway. The weather worked with us, and Lee and his crew installed the fence on the scheduled day. I was not home when Summit installed the fence, but is was completed before I got home at 4PM, and all the tools and lumber scraps were already removed from my yard. At Lee's suggestion, I waited 3 months to let the wood dry out before staining and sealing. We were delayed several times, because Lee would not seal and stain if the fence got rained on in the previous 5-7 days. When the weather was right, and the fence was dry, the Summit crew completed the entire job in 6 hours. The sprayed the sealant with had pumped sprayers to ensure coverage and to the prevent product waste associated with power sprayers. The fence looks great, I have had many compliments from my neighbors on the distinctive design and stain work of the fence. Remove existing chain link fencing 246’ of 6’ tall, type B, dog ear privacy-D.E. posts on outside and set same height as pickets 40’ of 3’ tall, picket fence – same style as privacy with spaces 2 – 4’ walk gates- cedar frames and “gate plates” 1 – 9’ removable panel “drain pickets” in dip near left rear corner Custom stain and seal

Installers came and completed fence. All looks good. Lee Tuck was very pleasant and helpful owner and sales person. We found it necessary to reviewjob and ask for a fewimprovements which was difficult as we are not fence experts or have any experience in such. Installers did call Lee and then madechanges we felt were needed. I would use Lee again butwould prefer he drop by near end of job to make certain allwas going well. Installed back yardchain link and aluminum picket fence to contain our dog.

Lee was very nice, sometimes he wasn't very good about responding to email- but there were circumstances out of his control at the time. I think he would have responded more quickly under other circumstances. The work was very good- no complaints. Someone ran into my fence and I needed a section repaired.

ctedc Summit Fence was contacted to provide us with an estimate for fencing our back yard. Lee was very responsive and came to our home that afternoon. He provided us with thorough information regarding the cost and time frame to install the fence. He also provided with cost for two different fences so that we could make a choice. He located property markers which was a challenging task undertaken by Lee with graciousness. We chose the fence and were given a estimated time frame for work to begin in 2 - 3 weeks. Work was begun and completed within the time frame. Crews was prompt, courteous, and did an excellent job. Would definitely use Summit Fenceand Lee again.

OUTSTANDING. You will get a quality fence job base on what YOU want not what the contractor wants to install. Anodized Steel metal fence, not aluminum for the same price as APEX. Do Call Lee and see all of his examples of fence types and options. Don't be disappointed you didn't. We have use Summit Fencing twice since we bought our new home 1.5 years ago. He installed wooded privacy fence and 6' Steel fencing. When were receiving quotes, Lee had numerous upgrades and feature he offered included in his price. ( wire on bottom of fence to prevent dogs from digging out, upgraded hinges, customer built steel gate to match slope and a removable panel on the wood fence for equipment access to back yard) Other companies did not even think of our needs with the fence, they were just there to bottom line quote us. Recently we had numerous tress removed from our back yard and the metal gate had to be removed for equipment access on that side of the yard. The tree company did not reinstall the gate properly. I called Lee, and he come out and reset the gate post and aligned the fence properly so the gate was as good as new...and he did it at No cost to us. Lee is the ultimate customer service oriented business man, which I have found to be very refreshing and very difficult to find today.

I called Lee Tuck (along with several other fence companies) to get an estimate for our fence project. Lee answered when I dialed him and was able to come out the next afternoon. I was unable to meet him at the house so he called me and we talked over what I wanted done in the backyard. His quote was very fair and it was easy to choose Lee for the job. He is probably one of the NICEST people you will ever meet and he is a man of his word. The day Lee said they were going to get started is the day that they showed up- ON TIME! Before the job started Lee and I went over every detail again. He was detail oriented and specific so that we wouldn't have any surprises. The fence is exactly as I ordered and they finished it when they said they would. Lee's crew was professional and friendly. I would have no problem recommending Summit to my neighbors or my family. We all have experiences where we meet the sales person/owner who makes the sale but when the job commences he is no where to be found. Lee Tuck is the consummate professional who took care of our fence project from start to finish. (And he's a super nice guy!) His pricing was most fair, his products were of the highest quality- something that would have been a premium at any another company. Lee has pages and pages of pictures along with ideas and designs to aid in the decision making process. You can't go wrong with Summit. Summit Fence installed a privacy fence along the backside of our property and then installed a ranch style fence on either side of our house to match with our neighbor's fence.
