I have had a very positive experience with this company until recently, and I want to warn other families about this situation. I was charged a $50 no-show fee. Do I understand this is the policy? Yes. But hear me out. This happened ONE time in nearly a year of appointments. I have never missed before. The night before the appointment, my other child was extremely sick and kept me awake all night. We've been coming to the Southlands location for a few years now. We absolutely love the therapists that my children have seen since they first came into their office. From the therapist to the front end receptionist, everyone has been very professional and courteous and will work with you to help improve your children's needs. I definitely recommend you giving them a call wherever the most convenient location is for you.
Ella was an amazing speech therapist. She left and we had Miriah I saw a HUGE change in my son I’m giving 1 star because I don’t want to not recognize them. But I have to regretfully leave this review after I drove to an appointment yesterday all the from Bennett to be told my son was removed from the list due to his “attendance”. We only miss days for illness. They have a sign stating if you’re sick not to come. We have three kids we get sickies in this house ! I did not have a good experience with them. The first two sessions, I was with my daughter. The third session, the OT and SLP took my daughter alone, they said they wanted to work with her without me. By the end of the session, when they brought her to me, she was crying her eyes out, she was inconsolable! Then I noticed a bruise on her leg! When I asked them , the OT replied it is because the carpet is rough.
My son has been going to Summit for about a year and a half. He has changed therapists a few times here but each therapist has been really great with him. My son currently works with Marilyn for OT and Shelby for Speech and he has a great time with them. My son is 4 so it is important to me that they make therapy fun for him and they do!! I have seen some great progress with my son’s development.
