mike bailis and his crew were very knowledgable about solar and did an outstanding job of installing my system. i would not hesitate to recommend sun power systems to anyone interested in solar<br />

They were very professional in every manner. The work was performed on time, they were very neat and the system is on track to provide the savings that they estimated it would. I only wish I had a bigger roof so they could have installed more panels!<br />

Severe Delay with Minimal Communication We were told that we would get the system installed by 2020 and receive the 2020 credit. Fast forward to March, still waiting for installation. After we paid the deposit in September, pretty much radio silent through February. We would have gone with a different company who told us they would write off the difference if not installed in time, now we have to eat the cost. Unless you get the promised work/timeline in writing, otherwise do not make any payment.
Do No Harm? Full Disclosure – this is a lengthy read: On 11/20/2019 SUNation called to say that my SolarEdge inverter hadn't been communicating with its monitoring system since November 7th. I checked my Sense monitoring system and could see that the system was in fact producing electric, and everything was working as designed. I even took a quick look at available data on my PSEG account to confirm that things were working as intended. Watch Out First they don't give you any penny discount at all, but they offer $1000.00 for referral. <br />Their promises :<br />1- Panels will start generating energy right away and you don't need to pay for electric bill anymore. <br />False : Depends on installation time of year , if you had your installation at winter or at the beginning of the winter or fall. Panels won't be able to generate enough electricity to cover your regular electric bill. That's mean you have to pay for your mortgage for panels plus your electri... read more
** Install took 4 months to complete after collecting my downpayment. Installers and service uses classic contractor's trick of scheduling work on a day when rain is predicted, knowing they will not have to show up (but it looks like they are trying). Physical install was well done. System failed after about 2 months with output around 40% of capacity. Repair took 3 weeks (see "classic contractor's trick" above).
We`ve made inqueries to have additional services performed and the contractor does not respond in a timely manner.<br />
