I moved recently from Portland, Oregon to Atlantic beach, Florida. I needed to transfer my dermatology care to a local location. When I called they were incredibly efficient about getting me in because of two concerns of squamous cell cancer. They called me back as they had a cancellation so I was able to be seen even earlier. I had been seeing Dr. Kartsonis for 20 years before he sold the practice to this group. I see Dr. Lutz at a different location and he has always taken care of me in a professional manner. I received a pathology report on a lesion biopsied by Dr. Bernhardt last week. I received no phone call in fact they had the wrong phone number on my pathology report. II called today and could not get through to the office, left a voicemail for the office manager no response. I need to be referred to Dr. Lutz for a skin cancer on my arm. I... read more

Receptionist and MA were ok, Doctor not so much. I got my results via lab and the doctors office still haven't called me to give me my results Doesn't ease my fears. Not good bedside manner. Will find a new Dermatologist.**update: ONLY when I voice my complaints does someone reach out. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE

I was concerned about a few spots I saw and scheduled my first ever skin cancer screening. There are some doctors that have made me feel unsure when they walked in, but Dr. Bernhardt was someone that immediately put me at ease. It was clear from our first interaction that he is an expert in his field and I knew I would receive the best care. Dr Hurt was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. She checked me for skin problems, listened carefully to my concerns, and surveyed each area carefully. She found a possible cancer, which she biopsied. She discussed surgery possibilities if the biopsy comes back positive. I was very pleased with my visit, and glad that I saw Dr Hurt. The office staff were also very accommodating. Altogether a great experience.
