The staff at this facility are great to work with and they are very efficient! They easily accommodated my schedule and arranged a convenient date and time for an appointment. The price was right, too- very affordable through my doctor’s medical network. Overall, much more affordable than working directly with a local hospital for an MRI. I am happy to recommend their services. “Self-pay” is the way to go- I found there are considerable less hassles than waiting from approvals from an insurance provider.
Apr 7 update: Added 2 more stars because: - They were able resolve my issue and get me the refund despite UnitedHealthcare insurance giving them a hard time (according to them). - Despite taking too long to resolve issue, billing dept folks were kind. - Service at the centre was really good: Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff and radiologist. Sunnyvale Imaging has a serious billing problem. I paid at the time of my appointment the amount confirmed by my insurance to be my copay and then started getting bills for an additional balance. I have tried, calling, texting and emailing them to find out why they are charging me an additional amount and I cannot get a response. It should not be that difficult the get a billing situation resolved.
I paid my co-insurance on spot in their lobby with my HSA card, upon the request of their reception desk last year in the March. Then in the course of last year, they keep sending me bills for that $45. I have all the evidence of my payment and I sent them text message, mailing letter, and voice mails, and they just ignore all of them and keep sending me the bill. Today I received another copy of it.
Deceitful business practice. Avoid at all costs!! They overcharged me for an MRI upfront and there's no way to get a hold of them on the phone. Said they will notify the billing department to process the refund but never got it after 2 months.
