I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My husband moved to Sunshine Gardens West. He is in a room by himself which gives him privacy, and that is what he likes about it. The staff is very nice. I have not tasted the food, but he is well satisfied with it. It's very clean and very well-kept, and they're now redoing the whole inside of it. I am a friend or relative of resident My mother has been living at Sunshine Gardens West for over 6 years. The staff have been more than helpful and the living conditions are excellent. My mother is very happy at Sunshine Gardens and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The cleanliness and food are second to none. I would recommend this facility based upon the care my mother has received.

I visited this facility Sunshine have very good facilities. The only problem is the only unit that's available is much too small to accommodate two people. I do know someone whose father was there and they like it very much, and he's a very particular person, too.

I visited this facility This facility is very clean and orderly. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The residents seem to be happy and ingaged. The time i visited, the residents were preparing to eat lunch. The lunch was well accepted by those participating and it seemed to make them happy. The individuals that I had the pleasure of speaking with seemed to be happy that they were a part of the facility, yet sad that they were not with their loved ones

I visited this facility The facility was clean, presentable, and welcoming. Everyone who worked there seemed so friendly and kind. The residents I spoke with said they were so happy and that it felt like home. I am considering moving in in the future.

Other My mother has been using the adult day care services at Sunshine Gardens West in Durango, CO for about 4 months. They charge $65 a day, which includes 2 meals and participation in the daily activities. My mother has been able to participate in their exercise program, play bingo, and attend doughnut socials. Best of all, she is making friends and having quality social interactions. The staff are always friendly and attentive and the facility is clean and welcoming. I am a friend or relative of a resident My mother was a resident of this facility. We were not satified at all with the management of this facility. It was relatively new at the time. However, the fact that it is family owned and run, and their family relationships showed they were very inexperienced and not able to work with the residents or the families, made it a very bad experience for us and my mother. This facility is still open and is still not respected in this community for many of their management decisions.
