A little confused by any negative comments here. Been with Sweetwater 8 years now and have had nothing but great, prompt service and super friendly and helpful phone reps. Their propane price is always among the better values. Are they always the cheapest? No, you can go nuts trying to find the cheapest propane every time you need it. From the attentiveness of Jennifer Mentzer to the quote provision and installation by Jesse Detweiler, the Sweetwater team was top notch. I had already been doing business with another company, who insisted that renovation work could not be performed until the 500 gallon tank was installed. When I told my contractor, he suggested Sweetwater. Their work was not only A+ but they were 20% less expensive and much more professional to deal with. I highly recommend this company.
Be aware, unreliable delivery resulting in potential $300 emergency fee that is not necessary. For context, my data going back 10 years shows a usage rate of 1.65-1.70 gallons per day. Sweetwater “filled” my tank a year ago and only put 265 gallons in. Using my historical data I estimated it to take 600+ to fill at that time, so I raised a concern right away since my propane usage has not changed. You haven’t returned my phone calls, haven’t emailed me, but still expect me to attempt contacting you? It doesn’t seem like a resolution or my satisfaction matters to you at all! I would expect nothing less from someone in your position to contact me for a resolution!
I made a call to Sweetwater to get some old propane tanks serviced at my house. The technician, Jeron, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also took the time to offer helpful advice and ensure everything was in proper working order. I would gladly recommend this service.
