I would not recommend Dr. Rizvi. It was immediately obvious why there are so many complaints about his communication style. If you’re the kind of person who likes to be informed, have a dialogue with your doctor, and ask questions, this doctor probably won’t be a good match. If you prefer to be rushed to a diagnosis without little to no explanation and without exploring other treatments or possibilities, then look no further. Poor communication. Poked around my joints for 10 minutes and said, "You have Fibromyaglia. He said my blood test didn't show Lupus.
I saw this so called Dr for years for fibromyalgia/sjogrens. He was supposed to retest for lupus but never would, he just put me on so many pills, then after 6 years on gabapentin max dose, he cut me off, no warning at all. He treated me like less than human because I was honest and told him I was in recovery 13 years at that time. He is technically still my doctor but I haven't seen him in years.He made me feel like less than zero! Today I live with severe chronic pain (8on most days)I refuse to see him again. I did a follow up on 3-20 with Dr Risvi who is very knowledgeable and thorough. His nurse Maria is so compassionate and answers your questions. His staff is super nice and Yvette at the front desk is very pleasant too. Thank you for your professionalism and answering my calls, which is rare these days.
Dr Rizvi is a phenomenal doctor. I have been going to him for 4 years. He and his assistant Maria have been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. It's always a pleasure to to go to my appointments. I recommend them 100%..
