After interviewing, I was offered a position and confirmed I wanted to move forward. I was told background/ reference check information had been emailed, but despite follow-ups and being told it was resent, I never received anything. Communication and follow-through were lacking.
Synergy provides a wonderful service. The dedicated employees took great care of my disabled Father in his final year. Their services assisted my Mother who was his primary care giver. This break for her allowed her to be a more effective care giver for him as well as a fresh caregiver to step into a 24/7 role she would otherwise have. It allowed me to carry on with my other responsibilities as well knowing she had the break she was going to need. Synergy staff is sincerely concerned about our daughter's welfare and has provided quality care. They have been extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
I was very blessed to be able to use synergy when my husband needed care. It helped me a lot to have the extra help. I was able to get out when I needed and know he would be well taken care of. I appreciated all the special things they did for him. Most of the times he was very appreciative. However there were times when he didn’t treat the caregivers that well. For the most part, they still continued to give him the same loving care. They were a real blessing for our family.
The staff are knowledgeable about my Mother's care needs. My Mom is pleased with their care and she says "they are so nice" after every visit. My Mom does not remember their name but she does remember their faces and how they positively care for her. Also, the staff and schedulers are responsive to my caregiver needs! I can get out of the house, be involved with my grandchildren and have a break from the 24-7 responsibilities. If I did not have Synergy, my Mother would be admitted to a nursing home.
