Not reliable service. I received two confirmation emails the week prior confirming my service. Today I was supposed to receive the service, and after 15 minutes of not being there, I called the office. They said that the caregiver was "not aware" they had been assigned to someone, and it was their fault. The earliest they could get backup care was over three hours later than the original scheduled time, and they would have to have different care takers throughout the day since it was last minute. I am writing about a recent experience with Synergy HomeCare and Victoria, our care provider. I was connected with Synergy and Victoria thru Bright Horizons for backup care as my son was sick and out of daycare. Despite initial apprehension since Synergy specializes in senior care (not infant), we had a fantastic experience with Victoria and the Synergy team. I highly recommend Synergy HomeCare for elderly companion care. My 90 year old mother required daytime care, but the first company we used had major staffing issues and provided subpar staff that was not equipped to work with a woman with progressive dementia and memory issues. With Synergy I was struck by the professionalism of the owner and staff from the very start. The cost was a bit higher, but it was well worth it to acquire the quality staff. We have been using Synergy Home Health Care for the past three months and it has been a very successful experience. Joy, the caregiver, is patient, caring, and very professional as she administers her services. Marissa follows up on a regular basis and ensures the care provided is excellent. Great service.
