We have used synergy for over a decade on and off. Other than a few minor hiccups they have been good. But this last need when I broke my shoulder on Monday afternoon and needed someone to take care of my disabled wife. They had someone out within 3 hours and I hadn't used them in 7 years. We used Synergy for assistance with my Mom as she declined but wanted to remain in her IL community. Margaret (Margo) Barba and her dedicated team of loving caregivers allowed the family to step back as they cared for Mom as if she were their own family and Mom loved them all so much. Not sure what we would've done without Margo, Rosa, Robin, Kristina, Amy, Grizelda, Ari and so many others-they became members of our family, some of whom drove 8 hours to attend Mom's funeral. I have been meaning to do this for a bit, but processing the death of my father in October meant that I am just getting to it now. I am SO appreciative of the care that our family received from Synergy while my dad was on hospice for well over a month at home. Synergy Home Care has gone above and beyond in every aspect. Initially, I was needing care for my mother who is a stroke patient, on dialysis, and in the early stages of dementia. I was stressed about making sure that my mother was being provided the best health care. I was able to voice that I would like to try a different caretaker after our first caretaker was assigned. We were able to find a caretaker that was the best fit for my mother through Synergy. After a few weeks, I was needing care for both my mother and father.... read more
