This is by far the best Mental Health Clinic in the metro Atlanta area. I have unfortunately been to several others that are more concerned about getting more diagnoses and appointments instead of giving actual help. Dr Okwuadigbo takes careful consideration of your medical history and treats you accordingly. I was taking 3 different medications and in my FIRST appointment I was told there is ONE medication to treat all three issues. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This office is one of the most unprofessional medical practices I’ve ever dealt with. The staff is rude, the doctor is rude, and the whole place is completely unorganized. Their patient portal is outdated, they write appointments down on a piece of paper, and when you call, it goes straight to a cell phone instead of a real business line. I’m disappointed to be writing this review because the therapeutic approach itself was helpful. Sherry’s cognitive-based work did resonate with me, and when sessions actually happened, they were beneficial. Unfortunately, the lack of reliability made it impossible to continue. My appointments were frequently canceled, and on multiple occasions I was left waiting in the virtual waiting room for most or all of my scheduled session time. Dr. O is so amazing! I left my appointment feeling seen, heard, and reassured. Extremely grateful for women like her in the healthcare space. 10’s across the board.
So much genuine care, concern, and compassion. Everyone we met helped us and help our loved one who was in crisis. Excellent psychiatric practice. We are more hopeful for our loved one’s recovery because of their care. If you or a loved one is suffering with mental health issues, this is the right place to go.
