I had such a wonderful dining experience here today. Everything was fresh and tasted incredible. The shrimp served on skewers were perfectly cooked and added such a nice touch to the bowl. I also really enjoyed the soft-boiled egg and the generous portion of green onions on top. It was a delicious meal that I will definitely be back for again soon.
This is my go to spot when I want a quick ramen fix. It’s in my neighborhood so I go here pretty regularly, though at random times of the day. The staff never seem to enjoy working at this place though once, right before closing, I had a nice conversation with the owner’s sister. I always get the Tamashii Men, which is their shrimp broth ramen with Shrimp skewers. It’s always an enjoyable meal though I finish it pretty quickly. Sometimes I can be in and out in about 20 minutes, which is nice.
Don’t let the strip mall fool you! If you’re in Uptown and need a quick bite, this just might be your spot. The vibe is laid back Japanese meets Malaysian in Houston. The Tamashi Menn Ramen is light but filling and in the typical Malaysian Ramen style. I will be back and try the sushi. The service is fast and friendly.
Tamashi Ramen & Sushi has been one of our long-time favorites in the Westheimer/Fountain View plaza, even though the parking lot there is always a bit chaotic. Thankfully, most people don’t know there’s a whole parking area in the back that’s usually empty and gives you quick, easy access straight to the front — definitely a pro tip if you visit. The food was great and our takeaway was very quick. Fish was fresh and the specialty rolls delicious! The interior decor is cute and anime inspired. Overall I'll definitely come back, especially with their stamp rewards card! I'll be trying the tonkatsu next time:)
