I cannot express how thankful I am of this place! I've been seeing Manny for talk therapy and Patrick for ART and it has been so life-changing. Both of them are incredibly kind, patient, empathetic, and just so sweet. They really do go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible and are so non-judgmental. Everyone there has been very welcoming and accommodating. I can't recommend it enough.
Working with Lauren has changed my life. I was looking for someone understanding of trauma, who would safely guide me through this journey, but would also be honest with me. I have found all of that and more in therapy with Lauren. The entire office from the receptionist to the billing department have been incredibly kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend!
It's unfortunate that I must write this review. After going to Tampa Bay Area Counseling and seeing not 1, but 2 different therapists, who both had shown the absolute worst bedside manner. The only person there who truly cares is Laura at the front desk. I originally saw Elizabeth. She was more concerned with her incoming notifications on her phone to even look at me when I spoke. Lauren Roberts is hands down the BEST therapist I have ever had. She understands and helps me every step of the way, at my own pace. It’s tricky finding a good therapist that you connect with, but not here! Cindy at the front desk always has a welcoming smile on her face. I find it challenging to schedule appointments with this service. On two occasions, they canceled appointments after confirming our attendance. I did not receive any calls to complete the necessary forms. The cancellations occurred one day before the scheduled appointments through text messages. This service has not proven to be helpful, and the waiting times are extensive. I urge them to consider improvements with a focus on enhancing the customer experience. So not going anymore
