I came in to get single twists done and had such a great experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and professional. My stylist was super gentle and took her time to make sure each twist was neat and perfectly done. I absolutely love how they turned out super clean, lightweight, and exactly the look I was going for. I’ve already gotten a bunch of compliments. I have been coming here for nearly a year and everyone (Lee, Shy, Loveness & Toby) that has touched my head has done a great job. I always get asked where did I get my hair done, which is usually a two stand twist with my own hair and a couple times with hair added. They are very professional, reasonable prices and most of all very clean (sanitize after EVERY client).
I went for a consultation in early May 2025 to see if my hair was a good fit (texture and length) for Microlocs. The owner saw my hair, saw a picture of what I wanted and stated that she would have 2 people working on my hair in one day. I made an appointment that day for the 13th May. On the 9th of May, the business called to tell me they have to cancel my appointment set for the 13th and I made another appointment for the 20th of May. My daughter had medium knotless box braids done today. They were done by Faith and they came out very nice. My daughter is very happy. We will be back.
Absolutely WONDERFUL place to be. Kind staff members, amazing results. I asked for big hair/volume, plenty back layers, and face-framing layers. Having 3b hair, I’ve struggled to find a salon that truly knows and understands my curl pattern, but when I tell you that Tangles and Locs went beyond my expectations I MEAN IT. She not only gave me a fabulous cut, but styled it in a way that compliments the cut itself AND works with my curl pattern.
