I bought 4 med heavey pink rods for catfish tournament on the Ohio River. I love these rods. They have plenty of backbone and fit my hands well. I prefer the cork handles. I got my pb 2 weeks ago at Tanners Creek a 42.3lb blue cat. My pink rode never let me down. I would highly recommended any of TWC rodes.

I own both Extremes and Whips. Hands down they are one of the toughest rods on the market. My personal choice is the Whip’s. Sensitive enough for those small Channel Cats and fantastic tip for those of you who enjoy using circle hooks. Still strong enough backbone to fight those trophy cats when the need arrives. You can’t beat the stainless reel seats and guides either.
My first purchase of TWC rods was at the first Catfish Comference in Versailles Ky. By the time I got there they had already sold out. So they let me pay for the 4 rods at the Comference discount and I received my rods in just a few days. Since then I have purchased 4 more rods,for a total of eight. It sure helps to have a good rod when you hook up to a big cat. Thanks Tony
