So they talk about free X-ray and free first visit, however today I walked in with my crown in my hand and needing repair. I have no insurance and it was my first visit, I was told the only first visit free is a comprehensive visit. I needed a repair so I had to pay 125.00 for first X-ray and visit. It was also explained that today would only be a visit to see what I needed. I would have to schedule a new appointment to fix what was broke. We get a flyer in the mail about a new dental company in Conroe who doing a free exam and X rays for new "patients" , as soon as you enter in the waiting room you from a person become a patient . My spouse and I decided to go for a first visit we waited so long that we left for coming back the next day like most of the "patients". Sign before arrival should have been I wanted to make my routine exam and cleaning appointment and they don't do it the same day. Tech taking x-rays had to keep redoing them and seemed to not know what she was doing (or is new). That was confirmed when the hygienist looked at the x-rays and they discussed she has problems taking on the right side. This is a terrible place! Go anywhere for your dental needs than here. The staff is really good but the people in charge - the office manager and the dentist - have no soul and will do anything to make a buck. The place runs like an assembly line...I often called it the puppy mill of dentistry...and will run you through as fast as possible and will find all sorts of expensive things you "need". GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. First off you have to deal with Caroline at the front desk on the phone or in person she is a really polite jerk. Even once you become a "current patient" they treat you like a stepchild. If you want to listen to the dentist (Ashley Alanmanou) and her assistant gossip about corporate issues, this is your place. Had an appointment cancelled week of the appointment with ZERO explanation from Caroline. Don't waste you're time or money with this place. Its a joke. Really poor response. I called told them I was from out of town just needed a crown glued on. They told me 2 pm. When I got there they had me fill out the paperwork for a new patient. They thought the had a new person to get money from. As a new patient they had time but when they realized what I wanted they suddenly had no time for me. I had structured my whole day around them even hauled my grandkids out of a museum early. They have no honor just in it for money. If I lived here I would never go there.
I went here when it first opened and had good service then. They put in a crown. The crown is great and for a reasonable price. However, the last time I went the dentist said I needed a deep cleaning that would cost $400. I never went back. I felt like I was being ripped off.
Just this morning my husband went into the office to what we thought was going to be for impressions, & extractions for his new partial. We had been there in October for the initial consultation, and were told that his next visit would be to get impressions and do the extractions. We were told otherwise once we got there. I naturally became upset because we had already planned for my husband's time from being away from work. I wanted to make sure my husband would have everything completed before going back to work.
