The hygienist Sunshine started by saying I had 3 really bad areas on my gums. Weird as 5 months prior I had a check up and cleaning. She also said that my previous hygienist wasn't doing a good job? Really I had been with them for years and only reason here is that we moved 3 hours from our previous dentist. I had a appointment Wednesday because I have 2 teeth that have caused me extreme pain. The appointment went well I had xrays and the dr agreed I needed to remove the 2 teeth. (be advised I am self pay no insurance) He prescribed antibiotics and tylenol3 for pain ( the pain medicine made the pain tolerable) I scheduled and paid for the 2 teeth to be removed Monday. I trusted this place for my dental needs. I ended up paying $1000+ for 4 fillings, topical treatments and a cleaning... A SLOP JOB. Fillings falling out not even 6 months later... I'm now having to go to an actual dentist and pay them to fix it. When doing my fillings, the dentist was telling the assistant the whole time she wasn't doing it right. My husband and I's visit was horrendous! The dentist had stepped out of the office and he was 2 hours late to my husbands appointment and 1 hour late to mine! Then the office manager tried to bully us into coming up with almost $2,000 out of pocket by telling us if we didn't get the recommended treatment our teeth would fall out. Very very very very very BAD service! Complaint 1: they claimed someone would call me to set up a tooth extraction. 30 Days went by and no one called. When I called them back they said they had no record of me. Then they "found" my file but told me that their dentist doesn't do tooth extractions. If there was a no star or a minus star rating, that is where I would go. The dentist, Dr Jones, excellent. The staff, very friendly. THE MANAGER SANDRA, A TOTAL DISASTER. Stay away from her. Money hungry, no customer service skills, forgets about you once she collects your money and does not want to be bothered. I stayed to get my dental work finished, and they do good work, but had to fight tooth and nail to get what I wanted with the great help of Aspen's customer service line. The staff IS friendly, particularly the dentist.....very likable. Professional appearances, clean office.. But.....frankly after two visits, I can say I feel like I'm a widget on an assembly line here --- being pushed through the various stages of completion ...or not...that said... VERY pricey. Three fillings came to around $500. Seriously. Perhaps that's the norm now, but that said --- those three fillings only -- took about 2.5 hours. The absolute WORST customer service. Dr. Jones did not even look into my mouth an refused service. Did not explain x-rays or the reason for my pain. What dentist doesn't do root canals that a different dentist started already! On top of that it is very difficult to get a response for anyone in the office. I literally had to call all the way to regional just to speak to someone about my visit. Begged for antibiotics was told by 2 different people they would try and call me back. Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes, only to be told after x-rays that the doctor couldn't see me for another hour. I would have to reschedule. Very unprofessional and not how a service business should be run.
