Excellent freight moving company. We had 11 boxes of household goods to move from Brisbane to Devonport. This company excelled in every way. Their customer service was exemplary. We contacted many freight companies and most of them didn’t even reply. Tasfreight responded promptly and their quote to move our freight was very reasonable. Quote was double that of what Spirit of Tas quoted to freight over a small wheeled farm implement. Didn't bother even responding when i wrote to advise of such !
A lot of my property was damaged and some of it was broken including something very precious to me that I won’t and can’t get back. This company are very unprofessional and don’t even communicate with their customers to let them know where their freight is or when it will arrive at its destination. Currently in Civil proceedings for damages to our concrete driveway after 20ft Shipping Container was delivered then removed by their 3rd Party, the TFS management were "absolutely pig-headed and literally laughed" about the situation, completely unfair and altogether upsetting to deal with. Horrible stuff. Now we pay more for a fair process through courts, completely unnecessary. Royal Wolf was a cheaper option, but we wanted to support Tasmanian. Unbelievable stuff.
