If you enjoy driving from Sulphur, getting to your apt. On time, waiting for over 40 minutes only to be told the dentist will not be seeing you because she made personal plans this place is for you! Not only did they not respect our time, nor the fact that gas is nearly 4 dollars a gallon, they clearly have zero respect for their patients either. We had an amazing experience. The whole staff was so sweet and helpful. I am not a fan of their call center. But if you’re in the area stop in and see for yourself. I didn’t wait longer than 20 minutes. They understood my concerns. They went over my son’s dental plan with me to make sure I understood why he needed these specific things because I had a bad experience with another dentist. I highly recommend Taylor Dental.
If I could give 0 starts, I would. I called 1.5 weeks ago to make an appointment for my 2 children. 1 of my children has a cavity that is hurting him, he is 6 y/o. We recently changed insurances to get more coverage for anticipation of braces for our oldest in the near future; therefore the earliest visit we could get for a Check up and cleaning is in July with a new dentist (prior to cavity). We previously had a very traumatic experience at the Taylor dental in Lafayette. My son is absolutely horrified anytime he has to see a dentist now. Our last appointment was absolutely lovely. I couldn’t have asked for a more patient , polite, understanding physician! She was an absolute beautiful human inside and out and my boy had made leaps and bounds of bravery with her! I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and patience ! Thank you for helping turn this fear around !
So basically there has been almost serval times where my child’s appointment has been canceled without any calls to my phone or any emails whatsoever. Multiple times where I’ve checked the day before to make sure the very thing was fine and when we get there from about a hour drive from where we live and either the orthodontist isn’t there. They somehow lost her appointment info in the computer and several other ways where my child has gotten her hopes up.
