Texas Family Fitness is CLOSED. It was the best discount gym in the area - lots of benches and squat racks and not too busy. It would have been nice if they’d told us they were CLOSING so we didn’t have to drive there and see Planet Fitness moving in. Seriously dudes, all it would have taken all of 5 minutes to write an email to all the members. Disappointing. The facility will be missed - I doubt we’ll go to Planet Pizza.
This gym makes it impossible to cancel unless you go into the gym you purchased the membership from. I just had a baby and had not been to this gym in MONTHS, while they still took payment from my account. I went through the proper steps to cancel by mailing in a letter to terminate my membership and they REFUSED the letter and still attempted to charge me for a gym I was not and could no longer use. New in the area, I called for a three day pass. I was told to come down and GT assisted me with ever-thing. She was very professional and knowledgeable with a great smile. She is a great asset to the company. I do recommend Texas Family Fitness.
This gym has become my go-to spot for a great workout! The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with any questions. I've also been impressed by the variety of classes they offer. Overall, I highly recommend this gym!
I'm sorry to be negative but people need to know. It is cheap so I know you get what you pay for. But here is my warning review: They let people grunt too much and be obnoxious, many of the machines are broken and don't align right so it hurts to use. The AC is not low enough so it smells really bad. They let the bathroom run out of toilet paper and don't care.
