She's fantastic! A bit of backstory: I've had *numerous* psychiatrists over several decades, some fine and some just awful. Certainly none that I thought were a great experience, so I decided to go a different route - Ms. Tran is the first psych-NP I've worked with, and it's been such a revelation! She listens and reflects extremely well, is very flexible and open to new ideas, and is incredibly responsive on the patient portal. She's everything I could want in a mental health practitioner!

Thao is the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had. (I’ve had two or three others, and all they did was act like a cold pharmacist or a mean cop.) I first had the pleasure of meeting Thao when I had medi-cal, and therefore had pretty low expectations of who I would find as a psychiatrist.
