There needs to be an option of a hundred more stars to give. The Barkford has been the very best thing my dog has experienced and needed. Zora’s first day at “night care” (I work night shift and they offer day care at NIGHT how amazing right?!), we had a miscommunication with my expectation in care. My Great Dane, Duke is never left anywhere or boarded until The Barkford! I would not trust him anywhere else! A Great Dane takes some extra time and care and they are wonderful with him. He never wants to go home.
We had a bad experience at a different daycare facility and were looking for trustworthy people to watch our pup. We found The Barkford through an online search, met with one of the owners, and knew it was the place for us. The free activities each month offer incredible engagement (and photo ops) for the dogs, the owners are often present and available for communication, the staff are attentive and kind. They do so many fun things:Art, summer camp, school days, games. The dogs are so happy- the people that work here love their jobs and these dogs- couldn’t think of a better place for a dog to be if they aren’t at home being loved on they would be loved on here.
We are so happy with The Barkford!! From the quality of care given to our dogs and the super friendly and loving staff members, we are beyond grateful. This place is top notch! We love that we can observe our dogs on the TVs and have a cup of coffee too! A beautifully thought out spacious floor plan and so many amenities.
