I wanted to give a shout to Sharlene I believe in the Poughkeepsie location who went over and beyond to help my son get an appointment quickly for college. She made the appointment she got him right in the doctor was able to see him and we received the test results in a very fast manner and plus a doctor also called to give us the results for college. Just wanted to say what a great pediatric place. This is and the way that the staff goes over and beyond for their patients is absolutely amazing.
I have seen 2 doctors recently from the Rhinebeck office due to having problems with my son. Dr. Fenner went above and beyond to help me and the way he communicated with my son. I honestly think he is one of the best pediatric doctors I have met! Dr. Bacon recently saw him and listened to me and ordered the blood tests I asked for. She did not shoot me down and we got some answers from the tests. My son usually sees Dr. Hirschmann but she has been out on maternity leave but she is also wonderful and caring! Jennifer

Every time I come here I have to wait at least an hour past my appointment time for the doctor to see my child. It's incredibly inconvenient and we will be searching for a new provider.
No one answers the phone, you can never get a same day appointment, they won't allow me to drop off urine samples. Also, when you need medical records sent you have to leave a message and no one gets back to you. In the slim chance someone answers the phone in the medical records department, you can tell them what you need but it never gets done. Find another pediatrician. The office staff looks at you like you're bothering them and they have 10 empty rooms with one doctor working. 0 stars
Doctors are great, but the system they have set up for calling in is terrible, like awful. It gets sent only to their Poughkeepsie office, instead of being able to choose a location to contact via the menu. This means that you have to hope that the receptionists care about the job, which is my opinion, but probably entirely true. I've seen this sort of thing over the years as I work in healthcare and can often be at the mercy of receptionists just to initiate some communication.
