I love living at The Commons (new name) my rating is 5. Some of the things at The Commons I don't think are available at other places: washer and dryer in every apartment, private storage on every floor, indoor heated parking and walking paths along the river. Plus, everyone here is really nice and helpful. I really appreciate you telling me about The Commons, it's not a place I would have found on my own.
Our family's overall experience with the Commons was wonderful. We felt that Mom’s care by the nurses and aides was beyond our expectations. Mom loved each of “her girls,” who supported her daily needs. From the very first contact, we encountered many friendly staff members.
What we like the most about Beaumont Commons Dearborn is the safety, friendliness of other residents, upkeep and maintenance of the building - (except the elevator seems like it might need some maintenance), nice meals at a good value in the café.
I have had extended visits with mom at Beaumont Commons Dearborn, while in their bridge to home setting, and the care and concern shown by the staff is comforting. I would recommend families explore the many options offered at Beaumont Commons, Dearborn. From independent, assisted and memory care living.
Beaumont Commons is very close to our family which was very important to us. When we speak to him he tells us that he is enjoying the meals and dining service. Overall the value is really good and we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience so far.
The staff are extremely attentive with my health, knowing my name, and in general. The food preparation and service has been a bit problematic due to COVID; however, they are trying to work on this currently.
The independent living facility is beautiful. The assisted living program is their weak link. It's dark and depressing, and the activity space was very small, and they don't have any activities on Sundays.
Not appealing at all..very hospital-like with only curtains dividing beds. Yuk
