I absolutely love living at The Flats at Big Tex, It’s hands-down the best place I’ve ever called home. The maintenance team is incredible, super responsive and always fixing any issue in no time with a friendly attitude. It makes such a huge difference knowing they’ve got your back! The team here has been amazing! Joe and Clarissa were super helpful from the time I applied all the way through move-in. They answered all my questions and really made the whole process feel easy and low-stress. I also met Alana and Amy both were super welcoming and made me feel at home right away. I’m loving the Riverwalk views and the convenience of having the garage in Building 1!
Amazing location, Burgerteca and the trails are a must visit. Sadly, the interior hallways, elevators, and stairwells are filthy. Elevators rarely are working. Landscaping has not been kept up with dead trees and broken lighting. The pool is unreliable. Package delivery is frustrating for both delivery people and residents. We are now on our third property management company, Cardinal, in as many years and wondering if they will step up. I just moved here and unfortunately, I can't recommend it. Here is a list of all the things that have happened since we moved (less than a week ago). -We didn't have keys for a while because the leasing office's system wasn't working -We didn't have a parking pass either -Our fridge started leaking pretty badly two days after we moved. It has been three days and they still haven't fixed it. -Our building's elevator stopped working -The fitness center is closed and we don't know when it will be open again. -We found a gigant ... read more
Good location, relatively safe and the units themselves are quite nice and modern but it’s NOT a quiet place to live with some security concerns. Pros:I’ve personally had no issue with the staff. They are always polite and extremely helpful when anything came up.You’re 5 mins from downtown driving and they have e-scooters to rent throughout the surrounding area.
