This was a great starter apartment for moving to DC. I’d never even visited this city and moved here after 31 years in Florida which made for a stressful transition, but Ginamarie and Kayla made this move and experience much easier. Great price for the space, I had a 700 sqft one bedroom for several hundred less than most places. Location is very quiet, but close enough to Rhode Island Ave metro stop to get places. If you’re looking for a place to start your journey in DC, this is a great place to do so!
I moved from Connecticut to DC looked for apartments for quite some time. I appreciate Vaughn one of the leasing agents so much because despite some of the negative reviews on here about the leasing team being hard to connect with Vaughn was incredibly helpful and responsive. I showed me apartments over FaceTime. talked to me about the neighborhoods benefits, asked me what I really want in an apartment and listened to what I wanted based on my budget. He just made the move here incredibly smooth and easy for me.

Second of all, there was mold everywhere and every time I asked for maintenance, they never did anything about it. Third of all, every time my family was in the house we were sick and after we moved away, we magically got better so there’s something in that apartment that is not good. The only good thing about this apartment, is the neighbors are nice a... read more
Updating my review after living here for 4 years. Do NOT lease an apartment at The Glenwood! Apartment Tour/Move-In - Make sure to do an in-person tour so you can really see the condition of the building. Pictures make it seem much nicer than it actually is. In addition, several things were not completed before I moved in. I went without a fridge for days, the construction crew left a bunch of mess on my counters, the bathtub faucet was broken, the bathroom light switch was broken, window screens were ripped, and the drains... read more
I really enjoyed my time living at Glenwood apartments in NE DC. It was in a great location, very quiet while also close enough to places around. The leasing team is very responsive and quick to take care of issues and answer questions. I only lived in DC for a year but I’m grateful to have spent it at Glenwood apartments.
