We ordered lamb shank and beef meatballs. The meatballs was nothing like the picture in the menu and the lamb shank was cold and the mash potatoes was grainy powered mash. The service was horrendous, we had to wait 50 minutes for food and had to remind them to bring our drinks multiple times. The atmosphere was average. The Trafalgar Square branch was much better, this one is EXTREMELY disappointing. We didn’t even finish our food. We had a wonderful experience at Caffeconcerto! The coffee and snacks were delightful, but what truly made my visit special was the exceptional service from Noor. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Her positive attitude and warm hospitality gave me such good energy. It’s rare to find such genuine kindness in customer service, and Noor truly stood out. We will definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend this place for both the great food and the lovely atmosphere.
The food and service were both disappointing. Being in such a charming spot and clearly a very historically popular cafe it did not meet our expectations. The omelette was very average to poor and the apple crumble not up to par. We and others had to ask for salt and butter came late.
Not as expected, uncomfortable seating, probably average afternoon tea, the only good is open late.
