5 stars From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff – every single team member was incredibly friendly, polite and attentive. The service truly stood out and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. We only stopped by for a light snack, but everything we had was excellent. Visited for a traditional British afternoon tea without the expense of a 5 star hotel, conveniently tucked away behind Piccadilly Circus and Regents St. The afternoon tea stand looked exactly like the pictures on the website and on the menu. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh, the scones were cooked just right and the patisserie cakes were light and tasty. Found a mouldy raspberry on our mille-feuille during afternoon tea at the Glasshouse Street branch. Completely unacceptable. The child with me later had diarrhoea and digestive issues. This raises serious food safety concerns. Extremely disappointing.
The service was magnificent, as well as the food. The café was very special and quiet. All in all, our experience was perfect.
AVOID this place! This place is one of the worse I have ever been in my life. First the service was terrible since they took 45 minutes to come and ask about which drink we wanted, seems like they were in short staff and the only one waiter was serving everyone alone. The tables was dirty and full of dirty glasses/plates, the counter had a lot of dirty glasses pilled which gave a so bad impression of the place. We had the afternoon tea.
