I stayed at the Haven (Wharton location) for a 5 day detox. I enjoyed being able to have my phone to stay in contact with my support system. And the main reason for 5 ⭐️ is the staff. They were patient, kind and truly cared about me. I’d specifically like to acknowledge the manager (Kane), the techs (Qu’shae/“Shay” and Keisha), and nurse (Autumn). These staff members made my stay extra comfortable and I’d highly recommend this location because of them!
When I found out I was coming to heaven I was scared confused and didn’t know what to Expect. My nurse Felisha Definitely gets 20 stars plus⭐️! She always made me feel amazing. Even in a sad day or a sad situation there was no sad days with her all smiles. She has a beautiful spirit and a beautiful heart not just a beautiful face. Cory was absolutely the kindest and most supportive person I've ever met. Cory gives you respect and he never runs out of answers to your questions. He made me feel at home and gave me such comfort and a feeling of belonging. He sincerely cares about you as a person Cory goes above and beyond. The other staff is very kind as well. My overall stay was good. The facilities are clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I give three stars because I've been here for five days, I'm leaving this morning, and I saw the discharge team once. I was supposed to talk to them about further treatment, but nothing. Looks like I'll be going home and advocating for myself.
I went in to triage and they were great! When I got in my room and the discharge lady(not naming names) mentioned she remembered me from the LBJ (which is now under investigation) Haven and commented me not not going to after care. I owned up to not doing so. This time I wanted to follow cause my mom passed away month ago but she still doubted me.
