This place sucks. Don’t live here. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The apartments themselves are pretty nice but you can get that anywhere on the same steet. The amenities aren’t cleaned or kept up to standard. The front desk is TERRIBLE and not helpful whatsoever. It seems like they’re never there and aren’t helpful when they are. They are often on smoke breaks or leave way before close. And the worst of it all is I have had over 10 packages stolen from the lobby and the front desk does nothing about it. Toured an apartment with my friend and was super impressed with Sara’s knowledge and whit. You can tell she not only knows about the building, but loves what she does. Originally we were looking forward to touring Hayes the least, but after meeting Sara, it’s now our #1 option. Hope to live there soon!
TLDR: Avoid living here if possible, management is terrible. Location is great, but there are other places in the area. Apartments are generic. The good: Centrally located right on the 62 bus line. It's super close to the bike trail. There is a rooftop with a great view. The amenities are decent when they're usable. I have been extremely disappointed with my experience at The Hayes on Stone Way. The facilities are consistently dirty and poorly maintained. The common areas, especially the roof and the gym, are filthy and neglected. It's clear that no effort is made to keep these spaces clean or functional. Additionally, the desk staff is never helpful. Half the time, they are either on their phones or outside smoking cigarettes, making it impossible to get any assistance when needed. Sparknote: dont live here… if you are going to after this message, especially do not live in unit 126!!! Keep reading for explanation… I lived at the Hayes for a little over a year and could not be more excited to have moved out. This place went way downhill over the course of the past year. My two major issues have been safety/security, and management.
