First the good…. Good service and the atmosphere is stellar. The bad…. The food. Based on reviews we figured we couldn’t go wrong try this restaurant. Raw oysters had a very unpleasant taste. I don’t want to say they were “bad”, but the taste lingered throughout the meal after only eating one. Typically, oysters are my favorite seafood. What a fantastic and delicious meal! Not to mention, even better service. Dallas, our server, did a great job in making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. My husband and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Of all the restaurants to choose from, since we had eaten here several times and were very pleased, we wanted to go again and boy, are we glad we did! Wow! Everything was delicious! We started out with fried calamari with thai sauce. Then I had fried catfish, sweet , sweet tea. My friend had the oyster poboy and said it was great!
1/13/2024 very nice restaurant, clean with friendly staff. Food served fast and hot. Fried shrimp cooked to perfection, but I did not care for their cocktail sauce. Had a very weird consistency. And I was very disappointed that I could say no Cajun seasoning at all the food. Cajun fries did not taste as they were seasoned with Cajun seasoning at all.
Large portions, great atmosphere, friendly staff, no wait at lunch time. Definitely will go again! Nice bar selection also.
