I got LASIK done Friday at 3pm and drove myself into my appointment 8am Saturday morning. The first night it felt like someone poured sand in my eyes. No 'pain' just very uncomfortable. But when I woke up the next morning all I felt was run of the mill eye dryness! The procedure itself is unpleasant (obviously) but I'm also super sensitive about my eyes, so if you're used to putting contacts or eye drops in you'll probably handle it better than I did. My experience with the office was amazing . It started with the comfort of the front desk Yasmine , and ended with Dr. Dan , Dr. Magner and the Surgeon himself. My visit was pleasant from the very beginning. I've been in glasses since I was 7 years old and may I say this has been the best decision I have ever made. I will recommend this place 10/10. Excellent care at The LASIK Vision Institute in Bala Cynwyd . All the staff, technicians doctors are caring, compassionate, reassuring, easy-going. They are very approachable, and they take their time to explain every step of the procedure. So grateful for the care I receive here!!! Also very grateful on how they were willing to see me when my appointment was scheduled elsewhere. Don’t hesitate to go here if you want authentic care from great doctors/ staff. It’s been two years since I received lasik eye surgery and it was the best decision I ever made. I’ve worn glasses since I was 8 and when I went in for my surgery at 40, my vision was -8.5 (almost legally blind) and now with my children now needing glasses, the bill of corrective lenses annually was getting high. I had contemplated lasik for years and the professionals here were so helpful that I finally took the plunge and did it! I’m now 2 weeks post procedure and I feel great! Each step of the process was so easy and precise. Dr Will was able to answer all of my obscure questions at the consult which put me at ease on the day of the procedure. Highly recommend this team for your eyes!!
