Huge thank you to Alisha and Gege for their amazing service during a private event I attended! I had a few drinks with my group and these two went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They were incredibly warm, friendly, and so easy to talk to—it honestly felt like catching up with old friends. Their attentiveness and positive energy really made the night special. Truly the worst hotel if you are looking to sleep at all. We came home to the loudest DJ set that felt like it was in our room. We had zero prior warning - and there was nothing we could do. Then the fire alarm went off at 1:30 am and no one knew what was going on. It went on for 10 minutes without stopping. Then an hour after the alarm - we received a text saying that we were “safe” and that there was nothing to worry about. Which was largely unhelpful. The building speaks for itself, but Shawn the security in the from. Super professional and polite. Handled each person with respect regardless of the repetitive questions. Angela was a blessing to have answered my questions with a smile and polite tone. I really felt welcomed and enjoyed myself immensely! There is plenty of space and seating as well as properly ventilated!! Pristine restrooms, not to mention! Thank you for an amazing Basel experience! Looking forward to more!
I visited the Moore building for the Ruinart sommelier challenge earlier in March and what they've done with it is amazing! Every nook and cranny has been used to its fullest potential! They have open offices so one came either meet in a sound proof room or have a meeting with clients at lunch: did mention that there's a restaurant on the first 2 floors? As a potential new member I was not impressed with this establishment. As I overheard from on my way to the lounge, several employees distraught about how management failed in justly addressing employee concerns about service charge and employee tip outs. Employees are the essence of service in any establishment, and if they are not treated fairly I cannot possibly trust my membership or offer my patronage with this place conducting unscrupulous business practices.
