This place looks nice online but falls apart once you move in. They charge a non-refundable pet fee that’s purely for profit, then hit you again with extra “pet” and cleaning fees when you move out — all inflated and barely documented. I even have messages from management that make it clear how little accountability there is. Parking is terrible. Most spots are paid, so if you don’t pay extra, you’ll be stuck parking on the street. Marlene, Abby, Francisco & the porter are amazing. It’s a nice, quiet complex. I’ve truly enjoyed living here the past year. Even the valet trash guys are amazing! The only reason why I will not give 5 stars is because the complex feels like a car shop rather than home. There are two specific residents who constantly have random people in and out while fixing their vehicles. They seem to run their business onsite as they are never gone from 8-6 during the weekdays. Started my life over in San Antonio. I found this place online looking around. They were actually the first place i wanted to go see but ended up being my 3rd stop. The grounds look better than the photos. Dealing with all those leaves must be a pain but if you want the trees you gotta deal with the leaves. I am excited for the pool to open up. I like the gym. Prior to AMC taking over back in April, I never had issues living here. Now, I only get the run around about work orders and broken promises 🤦♀️ Update: If you look at the past reviews most of the 5 star reviews are from a year or more go. However, this place just keeps getting worse. First we had a crack on our tub, no one ever fixed it before. We have LOVED living at The Niche. Not only is it a beautiful property (wait till you see the trees bloom!) but there is such a sense of community. Didi and Jenn are quick to respond to any need, and they go above and beyond by planning community events for tenants. We've been especially impressed by their understanding and compassion throughout the uncertainty of COVID. The maintenance team is always on top of requests and happy to talk through any issues.
