I’m so grateful for this school and the incredible care they provide for children with autism. My son has learned and grown so much, and it truly shows. The therapists are patient, kind, and dedicated to helping each child succeed. My friend referred us to this ABA therapy center, and my daughter has been receiving therapy here for the past 6 months. We have seen tremendous improvements with our daughter, which gives us more confidence that she is in a better place. We are grateful for the BCBA therapist Luke and his team for their efforts and for the good treatment plan.
I recently visited the center in Waukegan and really enjoyed my time talking with the team and seeing how they supported their clients and one another. The care that the therapists, BCBAs, and operations supervisor showed the children was obvious in how they engaged with them, meeting each child's unique needs with patience, kindness, and lots of smiles and encouragement. We absolutely love The Place in Waukegan. Our daughter started right before the turned 3. She was completely non-verbal and a severe elopement risk. She now has a rather large vocabulary and is working on her social skills as we enter our second year. The staff are kind and dedicated and our daughter loves going to school each day.
I want to share my experience there has been great. My daughter is really comfortable coming in and having all the structured learning, social play. I like the way they are really flexible with our schedule at home. Our lives have done a 360 turn with behavior at home and out in the community. TY The Place for all you've done for our family.
