This time, Don C., the plumber who was sent to us, did a very thorough job, snaking not only from the trap under the sink, but also from the clean out plug in the basement, all the way to the main drainage stack. Two great young men came to check out our furnace that had stopped blowing warm air in the middle of the night. It was a very easy fix for them because we had messed up the installation of the filter. We had filters on hand and they put in a new one. They made sure that our furnace was in good working order and chatted with us for awhile. I will call again if I ever need repairs. We have an 1900 yr old home that we purchased that has many baths and sinks and the original piping has had multiple new additions over many years.
