The transition to The River House couldn't have been better.Onboarding was effective and easy. The management were responsive,helpful and available making the physical move efficient. The unit was ready and totally updated and refreshed.
The RIVERHOUSE is a grand home away from home. To be specific. we moved here in July ‘23 because my husband had a very serious fall. Since it would be a danger to continue living in our grand Victorian Home with its many stairways, our daughter placed a call to The RIVERHOUSE. And voila’ there was an opening on the 7 th floor with two elevators. I was a tenant there in unit 6H for a year from June 2023 to July 2024. Prior to moving out, I cleaned the place spotless and was told that I would be getting my full deposit back. I literally contacted the manger every months to ask for my deposit. She said would contact billing to get this sorted out. I even called Travis company and was forward to the billing department which they never picked up and I left many voice mail and emails. No respond. It's exhausting fighting to get your deposit back. The current property manager is warm, welcoming, on-site, responsive, and engaged with the tenants. The River House is secure, clean and safe. I've been here quite a few years and am happy.
The building is very close to downtown. Excellent part of town if you like the urban lifestyle. However, the building is very rundown and because it was poorly built, in 2017 it aint a place you will be comfortable living unless you want to put up with maintenance issues, noise and building issues. Talk to current young residents of the building to get the full picture and ask them how long they lived there. It is a convenient location but it is not a good value for your money.
