Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

What a delightful experience on a train & in the redwoods. Loved the event area options
The Skunk Train was so fun! The train ride was scenic and beautiful and I enjoyed the voiceover providing a history of the trains and the area. The trails and redwoods were stunning - I wish I had more time to walk around.
Great experience, the staff was amazing and so kind.
Fun ride, entertaining conductor.
It was a beautiful trip really enjoyed myself.

Great over all, we did the night time ride… when we arrived at the outdoor barn there was a huge line at the bar which was disappointing. Otherwise it was fun
The tour guide Johnny did a great job and the tour was nice but short. The experience seemed a little costly for what was included. We enjoyed the rail bikes and scenery.
