Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

It was the best experience I've had. I really love the outdoors so the railbikes at skunk train was great. I highly recommend this adventure.
Nice Train ride and history lesson
Great trip! Great lunch! Great people! All around great experience!
Enjoyed the beautiful train ride through the pudding creek valley. Coming up on Glen Bair junction it is quite a pretty sight! First wanted to get fireside chairs as they go quickly and we wanted to do s’mores! Took the approx 1mile hike through the woods as dusk fell, it is a very nice little walk. Had a couple of drinks, played a couple of games of Jenga and cornhole and took the 9ish train back. Was a super enjoyable evening! We highly recommend taking the Skunk train to Glen Bair Bar! Next time we will try the evenin... read more
Lots of fun! The two guys who led us were great. Two suggestions: 1. Two people got stung by a bee and the guides said they did not have a first aid kit. The person wanted Tylenol which I can understand they cannot administer but they should at least carry a first aid kit. 2. It would be helpful if the petals had traps for your feet to help them stay on the pedals. Neither is a criticism just a couple suggestions. Great trip!!
Not much to see aling the trail nor at the destination.
The train ride was great. The stop to walk around was beautiful and worth the money.
It awesome trip, wish we would had the longer one. Fun and easy peddling.
