Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

Beautiful scenery and the railbikes were a lot of fun to ride. We highly recommend!
Taylor and Ian, our guides, we’re great! Such a unique experience to bike the rails and be surrounded by the scenery.
Fun - we had a good time!
An amazing experience for my 15 yo train obsessed son. Bret the engineer and Frank the conductor are marvelous. A truly unique memory making experience.
Great, friendly and beautiful location
The entire experience was great, from the check in to the end, the guides were engaging and attentive as needed. The dog trailer being available was the deciding factor in our decision to book, and drive five hours from the Monterey Bay. We will be returning to ride the other route, through the Noyo out of Willits. Money well spent.
Great. Upkeep on the paths when you get to the top world be a huge plus
Great ride with informative commentary. Our dog really enjoyed the ride too. The scenery was breathtaking in the redwoods with just a short hike that anyone could do. We recommend this ride to anyone.
We love the Ft Bragg area, enjoy learning about local history and have personal connections with railroads. So, the experience was good!
