I had an extremely disappointing experience living at the Sophia. I moved in around October 31, 2024, and only lasted less than 2 months. I expected a functional and livable space, but from day one, there were serious issues that management failed to address. - No hot water in the shower for weeks (during winter time), despite multiple maintenance requests to repair it. Let me start with the positive. The actual apartments that have been renovated in the building are great. They are very nice and look beautiful on the inside. My issue is lack of communication from management. It all started when I was first applying to the apartment. I had movers scheduled for 11/23 and had to give 72 hours notice to them for cancelation to not be charged.
