Very impressed and delighted. My "cheap" Chinese perpetual watch had broken. Another watch repairer in York said watch couldn't be repaired. Grant at The Watch Lab has fixed my watch for £20 so I'm a very happy customer.
Fantastic experience in this shop, my wife had taken her watch to another shop (who should stick to cutting keys )to have links added to her strap, the assistant in this shop damaged the links then said it couldn't be done which is how we ended up in The Watch Lab hoping they could help. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, 5 stars isn’t enough. We visited yesterday to ask if a stone could be replaced in a 21 charm on my son’s nomination bracelet. Everywhere we’ve tried said it couldn’t be done. My son explained that it was his birthday and that this charm was a gift 6 years ago. He didn’t hesitate, took our details and said it would take about half an hour, and just for £10 too!! We were delighted. My latch on my watch was broken and we have been looking for somewhere to fix my watch and he fixed it in seconds and didn’t charge me anything. Grant was really friendly and really good service. We went on the recommendation of family and it was brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I have received extraordinary service from Grant and the team. I had an old clock that was an emotionally precious family heirloom. Over several months, it has been painstakingly rebuilt, with parts having to come in from all over Europe.
