Very impressed and delighted. My "cheap" Chinese perpetual watch had broken. Another watch repairer in York said watch couldn't be repaired. Grant at The Watch Lab has fixed my watch for £20 so I'm a very happy customer.
Fantastic experience in this shop, my wife had taken her watch to another shop (who should stick to cutting keys )to have links added to her strap, the assistant in this shop damaged the links then said it couldn't be done which is how we ended up in The Watch Lab hoping they could help. My latch on my watch was broken and we have been looking for somewhere to fix my watch and he fixed it in seconds and didn’t charge me anything. Grant was really friendly and really good service. We went on the recommendation of family and it was brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I have received extraordinary service from Grant and the team. I had an old clock that was an emotionally precious family heirloom. Over several months, it has been painstakingly rebuilt, with parts having to come in from all over Europe. Came here to get some watch links removed after having the place recommended. Amazing service and couldn't recommend this place more. Unfortunately didn't get the chaps name who dealt with us but he was ginger and an absolute gentleman, a credit to the business. Had a lovely chat with us both whilst he sorted my watch and even let us have the links removed for free in the end!
