I lived at Hyde Park Court for three years. They are awesome. Chris and management are reasonable and accommodating. They are fair with refunding deposits and maintenance is exceptionally fast and responsive. Since these are the two things that most renters care about the most, I would highly recommend them.
It's been lovely being a Melroy resident, and I'd love to be one again should my path bring me here again. The service has been excellent. I highly recommend these apartments for students looking for housing outside of UT Austin that is affordable, as it's close to everything you'll need for your stay.
Rented an apartment with Chris and the Westside Group for 4 years. They were always extremely responsive, and took great care of the unit. The maintenance staff were friendly and punctual. I also got all of my security deposit back despite some normal wear and tear on the unit. Highly recommend.
Overall a great renting experience. Responsive management & attentive to property / tenant needs. Price-wise, it's solid. Paying for washer / dryer can get costly, but assuming this is the norm in Austin it's okay. Also, new laundry machines were installed this year that work very well. Big shoutout to Alex & Chris for being great property managers to work with.
I have lived at the Diplomat in West Campus for 3 years and I very much enjoyed my time there. The management was always very responsive and maintenance was too. The apartments themselves are well taken care of and for West Campus you get such a great deal on such a charming apartment. The only issue I had was that amenities were a little out dated but management said they would be renovating the complex over the summer so that issue is solved!
