I lived at the property for about three years, and overall, my experience was fine. A wonderful place to live. Great neighbors, staff, and home. Even after living here over a year, there's not really anything to complain about. It has fairly average amenities, but at least it has them. My main issue is the lightbulbs. The connectors are non-standard, and the bulbs are more expensive than average. You'd think, in light of this, they would be provided by the maintenance team, but you are required to purchase them yourself. Living at the Winterfield apartments has been amazing. The maintenance is always fast and they work hard. The leasing office is communicative and friendly. The neighbors are neighborly. The amenities are what you'd expect—in a good way. The layouts are homey. The community events are few and mostly unexciting, but that's pretty average. I am consistently and constantly impressed with the Winterfield team. A month and a half ago I went to them and told them I’m concerned about the intersection leaving the apartments. There have been several times I have almost been T-boned by people going 45 on a 25 road, when you can’t see anything turning left. From the first moment I contacted the leasing office inquiring about the apartments, to the moment I received my key, the entire experience was professional and stress free. I love my apartment! I’m able to walk to get anything I want or need. Living at The Winterfield at Midlothian has all the convenience’s of the city with the safety of the suburbs!
